intresting thought!!!

iam liking the n97 slide

its good for gaming , videos , media , sat nav etc etc

i personally think we will be seeing alot more of this design i think it has alot of potenial

i think you could make a device a bit smaller with this design , just a smaller touch screen with a mini qwerty slide out for the younger users

or even make it a little bigger for office users with a bigger processor and more buisness styled loaded with buisness apps

you could have a gaming device with slide out gaming buttons and mini qwerty

a music type device with mini qwerty and quick access music buttons on the slide out pad

what do you guys think?? think we will be seeing many versions of the n97 build ??

I would of thought so. After all, the N97 is not aimed at Business users, and Im guessing the N97 will lose its Flagship statue too later this year at Nokia World when a similar, more powerful Business orientated device is announce. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think it will. Theres the E75, which takes up that for the moment. And the N97 is just too big and too expensive to be sold in such large amounts.

Compare it with something like the 5800, and the cheaper one will win all the time. Plus, only a small number of people actually want a hardware qwerty.

yeah but you could scrap the qwerty and have numeric , music and gaming controls under there

what i mean is do you think that youll see this design creep over to say the xpressmusic phones or the eseries

i think it has alot of potenial

the phone is great to use when open , you can tap the screen , use the dpad and keys its like having a proper little media computer in your pocket

iam really enjoying the design of it
