The GPS is located near the proximity sensor, the antenna is as always located at the top of the back.

It's to be hoped that it's omni-directional, to all intents and purposes! ;)

Aww well I just tried to use one of those signal boosters, doesn't seem to be doing a lot. I haven't lost signal since I put it in yet though and I normally do at some point will just wait to see. Anyone else tried one of these?

According to the service manuals posted by IJM, the antenna is located at the bottom of the phone and not the top.

Ok I will try putting another one of these boosters in. It does say about using more than one if you have the space.

Those boosters are nothing short of an insult to humans. They don't work, but do work for some sellers, in the sense, that some fools, (no offence intended) do pay money for such tripe.

As has been said, they're a con, if they actually were effective, then the mobile phone manufacturers would already incorporate them in their design.
They're on a par with Woofle-Dust (you sprinkle it liberally on your front path every few weeks, more often if it rains), to prevent elephants knocking on your door... Though I have to admit, that so far this product seems to work!
