n97 vibration scratching sounds... Help!

When touch screen vibration is active (In profiles) on my n97, I am getting scratching like sounds like its rubbing up against some part of the inside of the phone when the phone vibrates. It doesn't sound normal.

Anyone else have this issue? Is everyones n97 vibration sound normal when they have the touch screen vibration active?

You can even hear the noise of it by going here: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/...read.id=142277

Mine is doing the same :(

* The N95 had a solid firm vibration.

* The N97 has a weak, loose, scratchy vibration that cheapens the phone.

I tried all three vibration settings, they are all scratchy.
Is this normal??? Or are both our phones faulty?

Mine's the same guys. I'm gonna give it a couple of months and then take it in under warranty. Looking on the inside of the back of the phone it almost looks like the vibration section is removable which makes me think (uneducatedly) that it could be as simple as a mere swap over of parts.

Mine does that same. Kind of a vibration. Not really bothered too much about it, but if it should get any worse, i will be certain to return mine too.

Not getting it myself. I have a UK branded N97.

The problem could just be a bad batch of N97's.

i just think the n97 has a weak vibrate action compared to the n95 n96 and 5800

maybe its because the phone is bigger and quite heavy and because of the form factor that it seems this way

also it could be the wire going from the screen to the board vibrating like that or even one of the other parts as it has alot of parts dosent it ,
