Following on from the N97 Camera Lens scratches POLL, and the discussion thread about this issue, here, this thread below is for photos taken WITH the N97 with scratches, just to see if those scratches are effecting the quality of the photos taken.
There are early reports that photos taken with an N97 with a scratched camera lens cover, especially when using the flash, the flash appears to leak across the lens. Please post a photos of a solid object, for example, another phone, in macro mode, without flash, and then with flash please. Then, please post a photo of something like grass on a garden, outside obviously, in auto settings. Please use Photobucket if you don't already have a photo host. Then just copy the IMG tage and paste in this thread. Thanks in advance.

hey micky I got pictures from scratched glass, however I dont see any difference, even with total darkness there was no diference, if there ever was a flood it was resolved by cleaning the glass with an alcohol solution. I dont think the scratches are affecting the picture quality.

Thanks for mentioning that. I spoke with a contact at Nokia yesterday, who was keen to see photo proof of these scratches effecting photo quality. Time will tell I guess.

Used for about a day, one very light scratch directly over the lens.
I don't see any crappy quality or anything, but that may be because I never got to take a picture without a scratch on the lens =(.
