Unable to play video files

Hi, i've just got myself an N97, i'm really happy with it.

I've used Videora N97 video convertor to convert my videos to .mp4, but when loaded onto my phone, it says it is unable to play the files ???

Do you think i need to use a different convertor?

i think i ised xilisoft ipod convertor then made my own profile up mate but there are many default profiles you can choose

maybe try that

super is a free alternative and there are many guides to it all over google

theres loads out there mate my mp4s work fine and they are very good quality about 1gb in size for a full film but they can be watched via tv out on a 32" screen and look like vhs quality which is great for in my pocket :-)

i use wondershare (not free) but before that i used super without a prob

What i did was tweak Videora settings to mpeg4 vga profile, converted my movies again, then put in my phone.

Works great, and thanks for the posts and advice.

I'm really loving my new phone.
