The extra-large phone is a case, within which the N97 fits and can be used normally. The theory behind this is that thieves will have no interest in snatching such a plug-ugly low-performance, old-fashioned phone and that you can leave it around without the risk of losing it.

Although, as it's an N97, this seems to me to be over-kill... Now if it fitted a popular phone like the 5800, I could see more sense in discouraging the light-fingered brigade...

N.B. The over-large casing shown was given out as Promo? material and is NOT intended to be taken seriously!

Ever worry about your Nokia N97 getting stolen? Worry no more! The Nokia Cityman-Antitheft is the ultimate disguise for your beloved device. Just slip your Nokia N97 in to the Antitheft to transform it to THE classic 80's phone! Who would steal a brick like that?
And yes, it is not a real product- just a gag from the folks at Nokia. It seems quite a few readers at AAS thought it was a real product. :-\

Yes, well- good luck to you, Tommie! I'll be offering you some healthy competition- been gearing up for it over the weekend since WOM dropped me an email last week. :-)

That N900 will be mine- for I AM the Cityman.

I too will be entering. Its a shame only Photos can be submitted, and not a video. Been hunting for 80's memorabilia to go with it too.
