To stress a point, I'm of the opinion that the news of WatchDog showing an evident interest, plus the steadily-rising bad publicity engendered on the forums by various means, greatly encouraged Nokia to admit to the faults and forced them to offer to fix them free of charge.

Ideally, they would, I suspect, have much preferred to ignore it and wait for the fuss to die down, hoping they needed to do nothing about it.

If the Nokia brains have been on a long vacation and returned back to us in a u-turn, they have forgot the real and actual problem with the yeollowing and mis coloring withe the white keypad....maybe the next u-turn will be more complete.

This thread has been made a 'Sticky' for now...

Do you think that we can 'unstick' the other three threads dealing with this problem, now that Nokia has offered a feasible solution?

Or are they still serving a useful purpose? Opinions anyone?

Perhaps now Nokia have seen the error of their ways, (well on these two points anyway) the other stickies could be removed.
Just a little less to trawl through.
