it was indeed the n86 :-) and thanks 93 that was a good read and quite intresting so they do allow wifi but it has to use their encryption basically which is wapi :-)

no wifi and no fm transmitter. i bought in in china and i have got a N97 bundle pack.

Hi! I also bought one some time ago. I did take it back for a refund but they refused. 'Said they only take it back if there was something wrong with it. I argued with them that they should have told me there was no wifi since it (N97) was basically promoted as wi-fi enabled. but of course they had to take advantage of my not being able to speak Chinese and of course just so they can make a sale of it - purposely did not inform my Chinese friend who helped me buy it that N97 handsets wifi chip in China we're removed. So yeah now... I'm wondering since the new mini N97 is now equipped with wi-fi chip - is there are any Nokia Service Centers here (GZ) or in the US that can 'put' back wi-fi chips in N97?
