AccuWeather Issue

im having problem using AccuWeather in my N97, when i open it it always say "Error Script" or something like that, since a bought this phone ive never been able to open this type of application, how i can solve this?

i think you may be downloading the incorrect file....which in turn gives you an error....if youre using the n97 look particularly for "accuweather wgz" in the ovi store....the other version is for other devices....

Ive already download the "wgz" version from the Ovi Store but its making the same problem, i dont know why its says "script alert" dont know what is that means :S

Hi Can you make sure you have data connection also if you always connected can you make sure you can open the Internet browser and go to a web site. If you are on N97 FW 20.x.xxx then the Accuaweater version will be 1.0.20090519 does have one issue that it doesn't work correctly unless you add location manually. What I mean if you are inside house or buildings and try to get weather of current location it will get stuck on loading there will be a new version released soon wait for that.

One way to get working is to remove and then install will sometimes helps too. But you must always add location in the list

I get a script error when using GPS if it can't get a GPS lock in time.

I also got a script error when setting the location manually. If you are doing that then try a different location. The server doesn't seem to have data for all the locations.

Has the app been updated? Version 1.1.3 in the updated Ovi store. seems to be a higher number than before?

Yes it is the new version I can confirm and seem to be working better now. It does go offline and come back on line as network connection goes off and comes back.

Can someone please upload the new version of Accuweather. It doesn't let me update, only launch the aplication.... Ok, unistaled and now it installs...
