Call Logs not detailed

Hi all,

When i first get the N97, i was suprised that the call logs was not detailed.

I mean by that, if you've got a called ( Missed calls/ Received calls / Dialled numbers), only the latest is shown in the call log ( Application > Log > Recent calls)

I was hoping a firmware update would fix it but still nothing, so i'm asking if someone knows a trick (or 3rd party applications) allowing me to have detailed logs.

I can not understand why a flagship device like the N97 doesn't support detailed logs, even my Nokia 1650 has detailed logs (dates & times) on each calls.

It does under Recent Calls you see the Missed calls, Dialled, Received, Their times etc. Hope that what you means. Also in the settings you can change how many days of logs you want to keep. But I do see that it only show last call duration the rest are totals I guess it was some thing easy to fix for them. But if I need the dialled call I normally login to the Service provider then let me see the call login in full details. I don't of any app that only since I never looked for one.

I really don't understand what you are talking about. I can open my logs which keeps a record for the past 30 days showing the date and time of each call. How much more detail do you need??

I mean, for example in Missed calls ( or Received call, or Dialled numbers)
when brother called me more than once , i want to see in list :
"Brother" - Date and time of last missed call
"Mother" - Date and time of last missed call
"Boss" - Date and time of last missed call
....

When viewing options for "Brother", i must have : Call history, delete ...
In Call history, i must see :
Time & Date of latest call
Time & Date of previous call
...and so on.

Sorry if you didn't understood me at beginning...

The best call logs detailed should include also the number of minutes spent on call transactions (inbound, outbound).

This has also annoyed me. Would be great if there was an app to 'fix' - or work around - this.

There are programs search for oxygensoftware this works and gives you all the info plus other info about your N97.

I am a Nokia users as well but just like other mobile users I am using other brands as well. I don't want to be rude but one of the best mobile phones with detailed logs are the Sony Ericsson units.Because they show the number of minutes used, time, date, number and name of caller. Maybe, this is what SMBSID and Ronnie are looking for.
