My old phone failed, and I needed a cheap replacement in a hurry, with camera, USB and memory card, nothing more. A C2-01 was on special so I grabbed one.
Now I find that if you accidentally press certain keys, it goes to a news website or whatever, which is rubbish on a 240x320 screen, and I don't want it anyway.
So I went to Settings-Connectivity and changed the access point from Vodafone to access point 2, which is blank. I also edited the Vodafone APN to some gibberish.
Internet is set to "as needed" not always.
Alas, I keep getting unwanted websites loading. So I checked the settings again. It is still on access point 2, but the Vodafone APN has been restored to vfinternet.au
Must I buy a basic phone instead, or can I cripple the C2-01 somehow?
