It's Broke?

Did you know that your Nokia comes with a 2 year warranty? Did you know that Carphone Warehouse are Nokia Repair Centres?
Damage from normal use: wobbly slider, broken keys, quiet earpiece etc... will be repaired for free, and usually the same day if you take it to a big store!

2009 Nokia Users Photo Competition Discussion.

I was wondering what would be good settings for my N958GB Camera to take good shots of live fast moving objects e.g cars (shutter speed etc)

Thanks.

with the N95, the camera takes a second to focus on most settings except sports and landscape,so for capturing fast moving objects then obviously sports mode has a faster shutter speed than landscape and so "freezes" the action whereas if you want to get the motion blur effect then landscape mode would be better. If you are adventurous and timing isn't as important, say if you were on the moving object then night mode I found gives more of a blur with it having the slowest shutter speed, although shooting in bright conditions will over expose the image. To compensate for this you could set up the "user defined" mode and specify night settings and set the light sensitivity value to low and the exposure compensation to a minus value which will darken the image.

To be honest though, you'd be better just playing around with the camera and settings and seeing which works best for your particular surroundings, have fun and see what shots you get as a result

I don't know about you guys (and gals) but I'm finding it difficult to capture something that resembles "speed". Unless I take a pic of the local ferrari sitting next to a kerb lol

I'm having trouble too, i was gonna add a pic of the engine of an Audi R8 but the pic kept coming out crap because of the reflection on the glass covering it.

If I was honest, I'd say I didn't really agree with the theme. But I thought "No, I often restrict what's being used and ask for another theme, so I'll let this one go" Proves my work was right.
