Reviews...

I'm pondering the idea - Would it be worth having an actual 'Reviews' section?

People are quite keen to contribute, but I think its near enough getting to the point where it needs its own sub-forum. All these reviewers need there own special spotlight and i think they deserve it. It also makes for less clutter and thats good for everyone.

Admin, what do you think? Can you make humble ideas into reality, extract blood from stone, turn ordinary metals into gold, you know, that kind of thing? Make it happen?

I love the idea, gives the users a better idea on what to expect before buying. I think we would have to set some guidelines to keep reviews to a certain quality standard. Maybe even have all new threads be approved by the mods? Let me know and I will create the section tonight.....

May I suggest that if you create a 'Reviews' Section you should also have some way of linking to each review or highlighting the review in the appropriate subject area? In other words, a user looking for information, for instance, on bluetooth headphones, would most likely be looking in the N95 accessories subject area for information on the subject... they would have no way of knowing that there was a review posted in the 'Reviews' area unless there was a link from the n95 Accessories section...

My review of the Proporta Alu-leather case will be coming in the next week or so :)

Once the Reviews section is well 'advertised' so to speak, I would expect all sorts of people seeking all sorts of info to come take a look in there..

One of the objectives as I see it is to Categorize and reduce clutter, therefore having redirectors all over the place kind of defeats that mini-goal... I do see your ponit though. It seems to me to be more like a user-education issue (people looking in the right place) though rather than a logistics (the place being where you might 'expect' it) issue..
