"General : Feature not supported"

Here is the solution to delete it :

* Firstly, connect your phone to a PC via USB.
* Choose Data Transfer (a.k.a. Mass Storage). Do not select PC Suite because you won’t be able to browse protected folders in PC Suite mode.
(Or just take the memory card out and put in a card reader)
* Open Windows Explorer on your PC.
* Go to \private\101FFC31 on the phone’s folder.
* There, you should be able to find the mpxv1.mpd (for MP3) and pcv5.mpd (for AUDIO PODCAST)
* Goto \private\101f8857\Cache
* Goto \private\101ffca9
* In all the 3 folders delete all the files Not the FOLDER
* Now refresh ur music library

Worked for me on the N95

Greetings
Tom
Sorry to appear stupid but do I need to delete the mpxv1.mpd and pcv5.mpd folders or the files contained within them? Windows won't let me access the folders themselves.

Hi all,
I can't get this work around to work for me. As soon as I refresh all the albums I've deleted come back again. Any ideas?
Thanks

Have you removed the audio files themselves from the device as well??

Can anyone explain to me why I've never had this problem?? Removing the problematic audio files and resyncing from my PC seems to do the trick for me...

I have removed the files themselves. But your question may have answered mine. I removed the files in mass storage mode, so I'm just off to use the Nokia sync thingy, but I'll have to use a windows machine.........

did you try to turn off the phone, turning it on and then open the music player? it says in the manual that when you open the music player after the phone was off, the player updates the library. and this works even with non-symbian nokias

I am having this same problem on my N85. Unfortunately I do not see the Private folders listed in Windows Explorer (I have it set to show Hidden Files and Folders and Hide Protected Operating System Files is unchecked). Is there a solution that works for N85 or N-Series phones with the current firmware version?
