Increase internet browsing speed in 2G/3G

This is a small trick that may enhance your browsing speed.
Go to Tools>Settings>Connections>Destinations>Internet.. . Select the access point>Edit>Options>Advanced Settings>DNS Addresses
Type in the following addresses
Primary 8.8.8.8
Secondary 8.8.4.4

OR
Primary 208.67.222.222
Secondary 208.67.220.220

It's not increasing your speed at all, you may get a faster response from those DNS servers if the DNS servers on your network are busy or particularly slow but that would mean at most a few seconds delay while the browser converts the url into an IP address. You certainly can't put a percentage figure on the speed.

I use the Google ones at home because my ISP's DNS servers are notoriously flakey.
