Hidden files - only on phone

Ive searched for answers, but just find lots of 'How do i hide this' type posts.

Ive got a folder on a memory card which is hidden somehow. It doesnt show up on my phone, but it does show up on the PC. Ive checked the attributes (on the PC), doesnt say its hidden.

How do I get access to this on my phone?

I need to install the latest version of copilot, and for some reason the autostart doesnt work on my phone.

The folder on the memory card is called 'private', and has the sis file in.

I dont want to move it to another location and install, as that can make things go wrong.

Any ideas?

Have you got y-browser installed on your phone? Try looking for it using y-browser.

you could use file browsers, such as hoolio mentioned y-explorer, x-plore, activefile, fexplorer and such. but private is a system folder, be it on both the phone or mass memory/memory card. the only way to access the private folder on the phone memory is via permhack. not sure about the private folder in the memory card. however from the pc, the private folder attribute on the memory card is set to read-only. you could try setting full access to the folders and files and see if the browsers would access it.

you mentioned the sis file is in the private folder? is that the installer? how did it get into that location?
