Changing languages on N95-8GB
Hello all
Around new years I imported an asian N95-8GB to Denmark (Scandinavia, northern Europe). All the functionality of the phone works and everything is great, except that I only get English and two asian languages for text input (and menu language I suppose). This is not a big problem for me but I would still like to use danish quicktext (or whatever it is called). A new software update was recently released for the N95-8GB, right ? (according to this) So I was thinking, is it possible to somehow change the "area code" for the phone, so that it installs a scandinavian (or whichever contains danish language) update rather than the asian one? If it is possible, then how would I do that? Thanks for your time |

you can change the product code but it will void your warranty.

Thanks for your answer.
Voiding the warranty doesn't concern me much seeing as my support center is on the other side of the earth. Are these instructions still the proper way to change product codes and all that? |

Yes, follow those tips, and change your product code to the SCANDINAVIA Product code, then upgrade firmware with NSU. Once upgraded, you will have the choice of several Nordic languages :)
