Protect personal files

I held some personal files on my old P900 under different areas.
If you add pics/videos to anywere on the N95 Memory card the gallary finds them.
Is there a way of hiding files from normal view?

Thanks

This to me is the worst thing about the N95. I have nearly 800 photos/videos on my phone (especially after a break in London) & when i access the gallery is loads them ALL up! Is they a way to default it straight to the album list or something? I the the UI of the standard gallery, just anying not being able to use it swiftly, i currently use the filemanager to locate the stuff in folders.

LOL!

I'm suddenly reminded of the "your girlfriend's white bits" PSP add.

I may have stumbled on the answer.

I have one folder which if I add anything to it isn't found by Gallery.

It's called My Videos and it's on the memory card. Not sure how it got there but I might have created it when I had the card in a card reader. So I've stashed my pr0n under there.

Most of the folders have a hidden folder in them called _PAlbTN (can only be seen with the card in a card reader) containing subfolders of thumbnail views of each file (they are jpegs without a jpg extension). The My Videos folder doesnt. Not sure if that's part of the cause or the effect.
