for me, i wanted to use a blank transparent logo so it'd not block my wallpaper. i used this Download

not sure about changing to other images though. one way i can think of is to download the logo via wap, or send it through bluetooth. i believe both methods would have prompts for you to save the logo. haven't personally tried it yet

you should receive an sms. open it up, press options and save. if you have the right operator logo, it should be blank now. if not, you have to try again. its abit of trial and error on this part. for my network, i had the option for 900 and 1800. tried 1800, but didnt work. so i tried again with 900 and i got a blank operator logo.

should you want to disable it, go to Tools> Settings> General> Personalisation> Standby Mode and you should see the option for Operator logo

Well it would...if I could figure out how to get rid of the things in red. I.e. the shortcuts, 'AM/PM' symbol and calender display.Oh, and the little alarm symbol. I dont ask for much

    LOL

so much for not asking much eh.

i have my clock set to 24hrs. can't really do anything about the alarm logo unless you deactivate your alarms. and the icons are all part of active standby. i hate that too. go to Tools> Settings> General> Personalisation> Standby mode and switch off Active standby!

    Oh wow, looks very tidy!

Um... I also found an option in the same place...Operator logo can be set to 'on' or 'off'!

    Doh.

Suggestion; You could get rid of the 'AM' by switching to 24hr clock

    Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> General -> Date and Time -> Time Format -> 24-hour

    :P

Looking nicer with every little chunk you take off of the screen if you ask me :P

I use all the functions on my standby screen religiously, so I work around it

But if I had more of a choice, I would definitely do what you're doing right now :P

Yea, I changed it to 24hr for full effect. The gold theme now looks very good with all the icons etc gone.

But till then, its all about christmas. And I really hope I get some bloody snow!!

Hmmm. Could you make it 'snow' on the screen? Perhaps everytime the keylock is off it starts snowing? Or too difficult/impossible? Ive seen that others have animated icons etc.

Making a flash saver would be easy enough to achieve, but a transparent background (As if it were snowing on any part of the device you were viewing at the time) would be the hard/impossible bit

But when i try to install it says 'Installation of SNOW.SIS not supported'.

Also tried this one: Free Animated Snow theme

    Same message

Is there some sort of flash download for my phone I need?

Thanks for this, installed on my phone.

I had three options for O2 to send the text. First one didn't work and second did.

    Thanks for that.

This is how my phone looks for now.
