I can see them all, incl. amazingly V35.2.001 for the N95-3 (RM-160).

The first set of codes in micky's post above is for the N95-2 (RM-320), the second is for the N95-1 (RM-159).

    N95 8GB UK Unbranded

Why did I have to get UK Unbranded and not EURO1.

No UK love from Nokia yet again. What ever did us Brits do wrong.

    I'll just keep waiting.

Wow certainly a shock update for the N95. Wonder what has changed, good to see though Nokia still care about its old phones.

Has the Wifi bug been fixed? Anyone been able to test this out yet? I have v. 31 on my N95-4 debranded from Rogers and I'm willing to upgrade if it's fixed.

Well we will have to wait for awhile though, since its a new firmware. Surprised that the is still an update for n95s. I guess its a 'Long Life for N95'.

With time the f/w updates become available for all product codes. Until and unless your phone is a branded one, and your operator decides not to pursue any more updates.

But as you are from India, your phone should not be branded.

    On the other note:
The new firmware is hackable using HelloOx 2.03. It feels a little more snappier, with better RAM management.

that happens a lot. that's why people change the product code. no hassle though.

Just upgraded to the v35 and definately feel a huge performance boost. The phone is actually faster then before I found. The rotation for screen for example is a lot snappier.

I think I'm gonna give it a go. The hacking procedure looks properly convoluted though compared to HelloCarbide

In your opinion, do you think it's worth it to upgrade from v.31 to v.35?

Well, after having such terrible experience with V31.2.005 I don´t trust any other firmware update.

Hopefully I was able to get a new handset from warranty with V20

I´ll need to be 100% certified to go to V35

Yes you can use fontrouter, have a quick search on the forums or google.
No you still can't have theme effects on the N95.
And yes, firmware needs to be approved by your network provider if it has been customised. Hence sometimes they don't ever get released to your product code. Look behind the battery for the product code and compare to the list in the first post.

I believe so, I upgraded from v30 to v35. And I've definitely found that it has improved in speed and responsiveness.

cannot install v35 firmware on n95-3

    Hi everyone

I have a n95-3 phone and I cannot seem to get the latest firmware even I have the latest nokia software.
Weird thing is that I saw the V35 only once this morning and tried it but it failed during the update. I did a hard and soft reset successfully after that. Now whenever I go to Nokia Software Updater (v1.8.10), it tells me that there is no update available other than v20. I am wondering if the failed update screwed up my product code (0552415)

    Any ideas?

    HELP!

I did debranding on my Nokia N95, and installed V35.0.2
Everything seems fine, except my phone crashes & restarts once everyday. Earlier I thought it happened while browsing internet, but recently I have noticed that it will restart even when it is idle. I guess its some memory overflow issue which is causing phone to restart daily. Please help me with the solution

(sorry for posting this multiple times)

    It works

finally, guys I lower my hat, you are all great!!!
I finally found a product code which not only allowed me to reinstall my 31.0.0.1 firmware but installed my language i was looking for few days now: Romanian.

so the product code I have used is : 0550818: RUSSIAN which as opposed to the other one did not let me reinstall the v31 firmware, and before than I had an Euro 3 product code which did not have any romanian for my t9 predictive text...so I finally made it with your list of product codes.
So if anyone wants to update the N95 8gb firmware to 31.0.0.1 and to have also Romanian predictive text this is the only product code which will do it: 0550818: RUSSIAN I have changed my product code and reinstalled my firmware at least 3 times until I found you...congrats again

    Congrats again
