Symbian: Free-iSMS - iPhone-style SMS manager (S60v3 and S60v5)

iPhone style conversation application. Intercepts your incoming messages too. Downside I've found, which I hope they change in later versions, is that opening the message in iSMS doesn't mark the text message as read by the system. So you end up having to go into your text message inbox to read the message again.

Lightsabre For 5TH Edition

Lightsabre For 5TH Edition

The Coolest Weapon Ever Gets An Update! Now Supports 3rd Ed FP2 and the 5Th Ed Devices!

Light Sabre is applications without real purpose but it's still cool as it allows to use your phone as a Light Sabre with a pretty impressive sound effects.

Application actually uses the Nokia N95 Accelerometer Plug-in package to hook into the accelerometer and transfer the movement into cool sound effects.

New version allows complete control over your Sabre via new settings menu that not keeps settings and adds some new features like vibration.

Here is the complete list of the new features:

* Vibration support with Sabre Tingle™
* Set up your sabre technology™ including
* Set Volume
* Set Sensitiviy (from 8 (little movement) to 120 (fling across room for swing)
* Set Vibration On / Off
* Set Hit Detection (Auto detects strong movement as hit, Random, causes random hit effect slightly more responsive)
* Set Sabre Colour (Green, Red , Yellow, Blue, Magenta, Cyan, Orange);
* Setting are now saved.

How to use:
1. IMPORTANT install to internal memory ( C:/) drive.
2. For best results turn off auto screen rotation in phone settings (otherwise you’ll get lag in the sound when the screen changes)

Hmm...

Lightsabre won't launch on my phone. It's installed on the phone - not the card and I tried disabling autorotate as advised (though, I doubt that would stop it from launching).

Does it require Python or something?

The Sports Tracker downloaded from that link did not work on my 5800 - it said it wasn't compatible when I installed it but tried anyway. It just wouldn't launch.

It took a bit of mooching about but this one is from the Nokia website and does work:

Sports Tracker v2.05
