MAME arcade game emulator for N95

Anyone get Mame working on the N95?

I installed the SIS from here Index of /~staffanu ( http://madeye.org/~staffanu/eemame-series60_3rd.SISX )

But MAME cannot find any games.

[EDIT] no worries, I got it working.

Had to place the ZIP'd roms into E:\mame\roms (on the SD card), plus it only detects games it is compatible with.

Got games like Bubble Bobble to work, but this Mame port still needs improving. The Sound breaks up and appears to slow down the gameplay, but still playable :)

This is absolutely wonderful!!

Galaga works beautifully ... really hope that the author continues working on this.

Yeah it works well. You need to press Right+Left+Right to get passed the [OK] screen - took me ages to figure that out lol.



ps. There is also a SuperNES emulator called vSun
Vampent :: vSun (SNES emu)
Most of the games work fine, but the sound slows down a lot. Disable the sound and the speed improves greatly. Set the GFX output to "Bitmap" on the N95 to avoid the corrupted display.

I wonder if there's a list of supported MAME games for this version.

Anyway, here're some that I've tested out and found to be working :

Donkey Kong 3 (US) - dkong3.zip
Donkey Kong Junior (US) - dkongjr.zip
Frogger - frogger.zip
Galaga (Namco) - galaga.zip
Galaxian (Namco) - galaxian.zip
Lunar Rescue - lrescue.zip
Popeye - popeye.zip & popeyebl.zip (you need both ROMs but only the bootleg works)
Q*bert (US) - qbert.zip
Qix (Set 1) - qix.zip (you'll need to go into the MAME menu, left options button, and select 'Reset Game'. The 2nd button is the '7' key)

If anyone's tested others, list them so we know what's playable

right i got the mame sorted and on the phone but can't figure out how to sort the roms out, how do you but them into the right file and get it up and running?
