I have tried it also and it fails becuase of the signed app problem. which i have been unable to get around, even with the date change trick. even tried DL\'ing carbide and registering on symbiansigned to get stupid things like themes updated signatures

TomTom 6 works fine on my N82 (with external GPS as it doesn\'t support the internal one, yet). It installed automatically when I inserted the card.

I tried copying the files direct to the phone with the data cable first and that failed to copy some files for some reason (I\'m afraid I didn\'t make a note of the error). So I tried copying them all with a card reader and it just installed when I inserted the card, no problems.

Feel free to let me know if you need any help.

(i didn\'t get any signed apps warnings).

You certainly can. I am not sure about the licensing / legality of sharing that particular file on an open forum, but I would be happy to e-mail it to you. It\'s less than 3kb so I\'m sure it won\'t do much harm, and can\'t contain much of my license info.

If one of the admin\'s can confirm it\'s ok to upload then I will.

Hey could you email me also with information on the tomtom

Also do you know of a place to find maps (pm me)

And tomtom doesnt yet work with the internal gps? seems kind of silly hope they fix that..

Well if thats the case does anyone know where I can find detailed maps for the default nokia application? I am going on vacation in Egypt soon and would love to be able to know where I am all the time. I wont have a data plan so the AGPS wont work (thus itll be slow, but oh well)

Anyone that knows please PM me! Thanks!

u need to download Nokia Map Loader. However the **** thing is **** buggy, with slow downloads, which sometimes get interupted. i found a great site tho where u can download the maps directly, but u have to transfer them to ur nokia maps folder manually. there are instructions on the site tho , here u go :
