Best address book?

I was a bit frustrated that there appears to be no address book on the N95? Please let me know if I'm wrong but if I'm not, does anyone use one that's any good and preferably free!?

what do u mean with adress book? You have the contacts application on the phone it works perfect for that - excepting the unuseful search function

ALON Contact Guide makes the N95's built-in contacts application fully searchable and actually useful. Highly recommended.

thanks Stevo, nice tip. But very pricey software for a search function. Does anyone know a freeware or software at a lower price?

I guess my gripe is if I have a mate called Alex Bayley, it finds everyone with 'a' and 'b' in the firstname and surname. I still cant decide if I find that useful or not.

What is your exact problem with the existing one?

If you type 'ale' it will give you all alecs and alexes, with each succeeding letter it narrows the field... its a pretty standard search function, like any other I've ever seen..

If you start with 'le' you would get all alexes and all bayleys as well as les dawson ...

You know, my phone used to work that way, now I just noticed for some reason, my contacts only searches the last name. Or if I change the options to list first name first, it only searches by first name. It did not use to work this way. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact I just updated to firmware 11.0.0.26 (17-04-07 RM-159 Nokia N95 12.01) and It is was bought in Singapore. Don't know. I liked the simultaneous first and last name search, now I lost it!
