Web Cam Software for MSN?

Ive tried WWIGO, looked really impressive! I got the cam working on my computer, great picture quality. But when I tried using with MSN all I got was a black screen my end saying Ready or Camera Ready in white text or something simliar.
I tried for hours to get it working but couldnt!
Has anyone had any succuess using this program with MSN?

Has anyon had any success using any cam software with msn?

I have been video conferencing for years with a great many applications.

Of all of them, MSN is by far the worst. We have gotten by for years without MSN. Every company developed codecs and interfaces to work with camera's of all types, pci, usb, etc. And vfw, wdm, dv, etc.

Then along came Microsoft and in their arrogance they decided to do things differently. I am not saying you cannot use their software, but what I am saying is that their approach is by far, not the the norm for this stuff.

In order to get their webcam, a very nice one I must add, to work with certain apps, I use splitcam.

Splitcam will probably work for you in this regard too.

Splitcam is free and will allow to map your input video to any application using the standards that MS decided to not use.

Thumbs up wwigo

Thanks for using wwigo. As Dave pointed out, wwigo works with only one application at any time. So before using MSN kindly close any other application using wwigo. That should work.

Currently im using Mobiola Webcam software for S60v3. It works very well but I don't have a comparison on video quality against WWIGO. It's doing the trick for me so far though.

Are you guys using the phone as a webcam for MSN on your PC? Or is this for Windows Live for the N95. Cuz it'd be pretty cool if you could get it working on the phone itself.
