Application to CLOSE another application!

HI!

I'm needing an app that, when executed, would close another app already opened / loaded in memory. Is there such thing?

This is what I want to do:

When I go biking, I'd have an autoprofile setted when connecting the A2DP headset. That autoprofile would launch the Speech2Go app in order for it to read my SMS. Then, when turning off the headset, the profile would be back to let's say, General, and that'll run the KILL.EXE that would put down the Speech2Go engine...

Thanks.

EDIT: Even better, a profile Manager that would let me close apps when leaving a profile or starting another!!!

To answer myself... I noticed that Best Profiles has an option to kill the app when the profile changes!

Now... another question pops... is there any app that, when executed, will bring me to the "main" screen (screen where you see the clock, standby, shortcuts, etc)?

Tks

If you used the application to close all other open applications, that would take you back to the standby screen

I want that 'go to standby screen' app to use it AFTER calling Speech2GO, because when the profile is invoked, the speech2go app opens and stay on top. I'd like to go to the standby to keep it running only in background...

Ahh I see, sorry

Well, does the headset connect automatically or do you pair the devices manually?

If it connects manually then after connecting your headset and invoking the profile, you could press and hold the menu button to bring up the active applications menu - Select 'Standby' and all apps will be hidden

The headset automatically connects when I turn it on...

In any case, what I'm trying to achieve is "full automation", i.e., don't have to press any button! That's why I want an simple application to invoke the standby screen when executed... I'm SURE there is one out there but... how the hell to search it!

Hmm, I'm really not sure - I can't find anything that would seem to do the trick

Sorry I can't help :(
