Got a short video of how quick and simple it is to share the GPS connection from my N95 to the N800 for maemomapper. With 3.5G and GPS shared to the Tablet- mapping on the N800 kicks ***.

Hmmmm and Brodit do an N800 car mount, although it's going to get crowded around those face vents.

Na.... sorry, TomTom is hardly supporting the S60 app anymore, let alone a Linux port.

I'd love to see it though!!

You mean google maps or google earth? Can anyone verify if it works on google earth installed in a laptop?

I think you need the paid for version of google earth to use a GPS.

Edit: Yep, you need google earth plus, which is $20 a year. I might get it, but Id like to know if this works with the Symarctic ExtGPS or not. Like you, Id like confirmation if anyone has it.

"Verified support for Magellan and Garmin devices only" - though that doesnt mean the N95 definatly wont work, just that its unsupported.

I just tried it and I can confirm that the google earth pro works with the Symarctic ExtGPS on the N95. You can select Magellan but it also works with the internal GPS of the N95.
