You do need an internet connection with this, correct? I'm going to give this a try.

    Yeah its wicked.

At the risk of sounding dull, I'm still trying to beat my highest speed to work which at the moment is 88.1 mph

I recorded 108* on the way home from the girlfriends. Don't think I'll bother trying to beat it.

I am still using the v11 firmware as there is no update for my model yet so I do not have A-GPS.

Even still I love this app, & for some reason I find that Sports Tracker gets a GPS lock faster than Maps.

Even if I had A-GPS I can't see myself using it. The extra cost seems pointless.

You can listen to music while it's running in the background. You can't close the slider as the GPS receiver is about where the # key is.

Just sorted the car mount and started using Sport Tracker for the drive home from work, once home exported the KML to Google Earth and it shows a top speed of 1049mph whilst still in the works car park.

Well, I've found out that it works excellent with the slider closed and inside the pocket of my jacket! Traced the route while on the bike quite perfectly...
