Interesting 64GB Micro SD card feature

I've a 64GB micro sd card that I used to use in my old Nokia N8- and despite the official Nokia specs saying that the N8 only supports 32GB, it worked just fine as long as you formatted it to the FAT format.

I put the same card into my Nokia 808 and it worked just fine- however, I always felt it was a bit glitchy in the 808- ie, video would stutter and downloads would be a bit slow.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I reformatted the Sd card with Exfat format, using Windows 7 on my laptop and I've immediately noticed the access times for the memory card is a lot faster.

Just thought I'd share my experience with you guys- might be of some interest to some of you.

    Interesting indeed.

I have a Sandisk 64Gb card in mine, formatted Fat32 and have ZERO problems with it in there.

Nice that it supports exFat formatting though, AFAIK it and the S3/Note 2 are the only phones to do so.

I bought a 64 gig sandisk and it worked straight out the box, no formatting required. FAT32 has file size limits tho among other well known issues so why even mess with it?
