Deleting all mailboxes
Hi All, I just received this message from Microsoft.
We're changing how email messages are delivered to your device and need you to take action.
Beginning 20 November 2014, the Email app on your Nokia Symbian phone will no longer let you send and receive new email, or read existing email.
But don't worry. You can continue to access email by switching to the Messaging app that's already on your phone.
Here’s how. You can also read these steps on another device by going to Nokia
Make sure you have the username and password for each email account you access.
Write down your email provider's settings. If you don't know them, go to Nokia
Make sure your phone has a data connection. You can't finish these steps if your phone is offline.
Start the Email app. Go to settings and remove all mailboxes. Exit the Email app.
Start Set Up E-mail from your home screen. Or, start the Messaging app.
It says go to settings and remove all mailboxes. I couldn't see an option to delete or remove? Can anyone help please?
If you received the message from MS then ignore it as valueless. They [MS] do not support Symbian. 'E' Mail should not be seen or thought of as 'messaging'. 'E-Mail' is completely different from 'Messaging'. Your N8 system is independent from anything MS has and will operate without their [MS] support.
