    What's the weather like?

Well I'm British (live in London) so I have to talk about the weather and to talk about it I have to know what it's going to be like.

I've tried a few weather apps on my e71 but most of them are about as accurate as the title of this post. This morning Worldmate told me it was going to be 20 degrees and light rain and it was about 24 and sunny.

So can anyone recommend a weather app that gets close to getting the weather right? I appreciate it's not that easy to predict but close would be good.

I also use Worldmate out here in Spain. Usually find that there predictions come right in the later part of the day around midday.

For instance their prediction is 35 degrees with mostly cloudy the day starts clear Blue Sky 35 degrees but by midday (Or 1pm our time) we get a few clouds with the temperatures reaching 38 to 40 mid afternoon then dropping back to 35 early evening. Before dropping back to the predicted minimum of 20 degrees over night

Have used the BBC weather site but found it a bit unreliable for this region.

You have so nice wheater down there CD so you dont need to know..-

But I agree there be some faulty reports of the wheaterapps to the phones ,
I rember 1 time we stand in Stockholm and almost brag over the good apps like
worldmate who say it be real sunny , and when we see the big sun
on the screen it start rein..-

I dont know the best wheaterapp to the phones but I use the Norweigan Yr who
are real good and update the forecast couple times evry day, Weather forecast for Europe ? yr.no
there are many others but they take pay but Yr is free

    Like they say>
yr.no is the joint online weather service from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (met.no)
and the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK).
These two public institutions have worked together for more than 70 years in the area of weather forecasting services in Norway.

yr.no is unique in Europe because of our very detailed weather forecasts and our free data policy.

for me good old google search seems to be the most accurate. i put my city country and weather as search parameter and it tells me as it is....i then bookmark it and its two clicks away.

The other 3rd party apps i've tried like accuweather and weatherbug (weather bug by far the best looking app imo) were all using the weather station from the major city 40km away, and whats worse is its at the airport where its almost a micro climate in itself.
Not as pretty but more accurate.

Thanks for that Tommie. Excellent site.

With Worldmate the nearest we can get to our little town, called Pilar De La Horadada, Is Murcia, which is about 20km from us.

With your suggestion I can get our little town in the search facility with no problem. Although there is nothing, I can see to receive the info on my phone.

No problem really because I can print the very detailed 3 day forecast from the website and hang it on the wall.

    Thanks once again.

I have been using ForecaWeather for a bit and have been happy with the accuracy though there are some funky UI issues (like the hours don;t seem to line up with the real times of day, etc.).
